  • Go for it. He won't kick you out because of it, I'm betting. It's your decision.
  • You're right. You are an adult. At 18, you are old enough to make your own choices without parental permission. Just do whatever is right for you.
  • You're 18. It's your body, it's your life. You can respect his opinion and still have your own and do what you want. if he gives you crap about it, just let him know "hey, I respected your rules when I was a kid and I will continue to respect you, but I'm an adult now and it's my decision."
  • Look at it from another point of view. Right now I am 20 years old. When I was 16,17,18 ish.. I wanted Tattoos so bad. Same thing, my dad was so against it and always told me that it would "Hurt him" if I went behind his back and did it. Being rebellious, I did. I got my nose pierced and a tattoo on my back. Three weeks later my dad suddenly passed away. To this day I still live with the regret and pain of disobeying him. I would say as long as you are living under his roof and he is paying for your shelter/food/ school? then do not do it. If you live on your own and support yourself, go for it!
