I always go back and fix it if I can.

I go back and edit the answer and then comment on it if someone already has responsed to my mistake or something.

Go back and fix it, if it's fixable. If fixing it changes my answer (eg, if I read the question wrong the first time), I will write "EDIT:" and then make my changes, or write it in a comment.

It depends. If my message gets across correctly, then I'll tend to leave it be. However, if someone misinterprets the answer, and is offended, I will add a comment to try and clarify, or fix it.

I usally try to fix my mistakes. I don't like the way it looks and want to make things as easy to read as possible.
