  • Im english and have moved to Norway. I miss england! I love it! I allways where an england top of some sort! I am proud to be english! I would never want to be anything other than english! The reason I moved away is because my norwegian girlfriend got pregnant, and if there is one bad thing about england, it is the fact that it is not a safe place for children any more! And due to that fact I moved here. My child comes first! He is probably the only thing that would ever seperate me from my glorious country!
  • I love it - I just wish it were less expensive. I'm going there next month (London). The British Museum is awesome!
  • I bet I'm wrong since I've never been, but my first thoughts are "Progressive yet Stuffy".
  • As an American that has been to the UK several time, I love it. The people are very friendly overall (I really was impressed that people would take time to not only give directions, but escort you). The food, not so good overall. The history and landscapes are just incredible. Teeth care. . . . sometimes, stereotypes are based on truth.
  • I love the UK and have traveled there probably 7 times - to lots of different destinations. Its history really resonates with me. I've read deeply in Brit lit and love seeing the places where the stories and poem were set and were written. You've got world-class museums, historical monuments dating back through history to prehistoric times, cool people, great drama/stage shows, good night life, pubs with real beer in them (and fairly decent pub grub), a great transportation system, and a great deal more.
  • I live in california in the usa, and a few years ago I was obbsessed with England, even though I have never been there, I wanted to live there so bad, I would fly the British flag during the war, and have British flag stickers and shirts. I love their accent, their manners and everything. I wished I was British sometimes.

I love it, I like the history and architecture ... but it's very expensive ... if you earn less than 100k per year I would imagine a very average lifstyle ... No offense Peace

  • Lots of green, River Thames, London Bridge, and lots of fog.
  • As a Brit - Rolling hills, valleys and farmed fields; The white cliffs of dover; Stonehenge; Quaint little historic villages; Old architecture next to huge sparkling new buildings; Castles and stately homes; Parks; Boring and jammed motorways; Piers jutting out into the sea with couples sharing fish and chips. I love it =) It is a mix of old and new, loud and quiet, natural and manmade.
