What would you prefer to teach, primary school (5 to 11 year olds) or secondry school (11 to 16 year olds) and why?

I'd prefer to teach 5 to 11 year olds. I generally find it quite easy to relate to smaller children and they tend to be friendlier. I remember the stuff we used to do to our teachers in Senior school and there's no way I'd want to go through it as a teacher!

The more independent kids are capable of being, the more comfortable I am around them, so I'd have to say I'd choose to teach the older kids. Kids who are on the brink of confronting their own freedom and are challenging everything are a lot of fun.

I am trying to choose between two levels of education right now. It is between primary level and College level. I love little kids and would love to provide them with the necessary tools for prior grades (like building blocks), but I enjoy the one on one relationship with college level students...hmmm

That's a hard question, but I think I wouldn't mind who I taught as long as someone got the knowledge. Everyone needs to be taught the good things and how to function properly in life and society. Everyone needs the tools of success. I would teach both if I could lol.
