Will having your cell phone in the bathroom while you shower hurt it? (from the steam?)

As with any electronics they do not mix with mosture well. Lots even tell the operating tempritures and humidity levels. Steam is just another forum of water and it can collect on the phone causing a short. If you must have your cell phone in the bath room I would cover it with say your cloths. Any steam would condence on the cloths instead of the phone. Preventing a short from happening. I would turn it off as well because you hopefully are not going to be answering it while in the shower.
