  • If I'd ever had a plan I suppose I would, but just winging it's worked out OK so far.
  • You almost have to adapt no matter what you're doing. My friends and I want to build a boat and we've redesigned the thing too many times to even recognize the original.

  • Sure. We get new information constantly, and if we don't integrate it we'll build obsolete things. Humans are adaptable. I don't think I ever DID have a long-term plan. Doors opened or did not. I looked for opportunities and chose, sometimes changing the choice criteria in the process.
  • You better learn to because you have a lifetime of changes coming!
  • Of course, why not? It's possible to have circumstances change, values change, opportunities change. I'd say that if you never change your original plan then you may have missed the boat.
  • Yes. Although sometimes it can be disappointing or difficult, it's better to be flexible.
