Silence.

My youngest sister's scream. She screams like she just watched the most horrible murder or a demon appear - even if you just scare her. Someone should record her scream for movies or something. Anyways, whenever I hear it I get chills and look over my should to make sure that there's no evil undead behind me.

That calm right before a tornado hits.

Spewing water, (like from a busted water pipe), hissing air, (like from a flat tire), or sirens, (when one of my children are almost home).

Styrafoam. That squeaky sound makes my skin crawl.

Gagging and choking. It either make ME gag, or I think someone is dying!

My wife telling me she is going shopping!!!! :)

Silence. Silence can be the noisiest sound.

Someone wiggling the front door knob and I am home alone.

My wife softly saying : Honey... Moms coming to visit. I mean. Couldn't it be something easier , like having me wrestle a live crocodile or kiss a cobra on the lips or something?

SOCKS RUBBING TOGETHER!!!!! I HATE THAT!!! It makes my skin crawl....

The sounds at the beginning of a song called "Skin" by Madonna from the "Ray of Light" CD. The sounds the end of the song "Fly Like and Eagle" by the Steve Miller Band These sounds make me feel the most intense illogical fear ever.

The sound of people jiggling my door handle in the middle of the night. It happens on a regular basis and scares the shit out of me.

a sound like branches rubbing the window at night ..... because there are no branches by the window.

i have this thing when someone is looking over my shoulder and breathing i get freaked out... idk why? and also complete and utter silence,and old creeky houses

Car tiers screaching, and the noise of an impact of a crash. Ever since mine i hear that i freak.

Breaking Glass and Screaming.

The rumbling of thunder is scary if it goes on too long - it can sound like an earthquake feels. Not especially scary, but I hate the sound of loud thumping bass from passing cars. It makes my chest hurt.

I startle very easily, so any sharp, loud sound scares me to death. Any close, unexpected sound when I am concentrating deeply on something will also do the trick.

The sound of loud cars or motorbikes. I don't know why.

Screaming. Or, the croak that the woman from The Grudge makes... She is my worst nightmare, and if I EVER hear that sound and I don't know where it's coming from, I'll know my number's up and prepare for a heart attack.

A low flying jet or a sound like it when I'm driving over an overpass.

The sound of somebody choking or unable to breathe. The song "Black Death" by Qntal, especially the beginning, freaks me out. I don't know why. It just has really, really, really scary energy.

I have a serious phobia of knocks on doors and doorbells. No joke. Even on TV.

My mother's special cell phone ring.

When someone's tires squeal from hitting the brakes! It's got that sound that freaks me out for a second because I know that someone might hit something. (or someone).
