If you mean during a sports game; I'd say the more people who show up and enthusiastically support you, the more morale you're going to have and the better you'll do.

It is a known fact that home teams have a better record then visitors. Although sometimes the home team tries to be too fancy with some plays.(Especially in hockey.) There is a reason why it is called home field(or ice) advantage. In football, the home team can make a lot of noise which sometimes disrupts the communication of the visitor's offence.
