I have one child and no, I do not want more. The stress with having one is enough to make my brain explode. All I'd need to hear is he's touching me one time to 'prolly loose it. I never wanted kids, and then I had my son whom is a blessing, but I don't want anymore.

When I was in my 20s, lots of my friends got married and had kids. I saw how dramatically their lives changed. This is just my opinion but, unless you make a very comfortable salary, the next 18 years of your life are gone once you have a child. I never had kids because of greed. I wanted to spend all that time and money on myself. I'm sure I would think much differently if I had had children, but I didn't and I don't.

(To the question "why not") Well, everything about childrearing scares me. It would definitely be painful, probably be traumatic, and my conditions would get worse. Besides that, I dread having to pass on my disabilities to anyone else. Also, I know about that hormone oxytocin (trust hormone that makes women actually want to have children, even after going through the birthing process). But I have a deficiency.

I had 4 children from a previous marriage so I didn't want anymore. My second wife insisted on children and became increasingly less happy with having none. So we had a daughter. Then she was unhappy that our daughter was an "only child". So, we had twins. There is no "why" about our 4th child. I just know my wife is NOW unhappy with the demands of raising children. Go figure...!

I don't want to have children. The world is overpopulated already, and if we continue going the way we are, we will have a HUGE resource crisis. There are lots of children without parents already, so I figure that I should take in one of those if I feel the need to have a child.
