No, not at all. Everyday when Jehovah’s Witnesses go from door to door, we meet people from all sorts of religious backgrounds. We discuss many different subjects, many not Bible related. Anyone here on answerbag can tell you that. Listening is a very big part of our ministry. We were just reminded about that last night at our meeting at the Kingdom Hall. More proof is the many discussions that the answerbaggers have had here on this Website with the many baggers who are Jehovah’s Witnesses.

I am not certian, but I think ... people who choose not to be Jehovah's witnesses after being baptized are not talked to until the ex-witness discusses his actions with an elder and requests union with the congragation again. I am not 100% sure. All other people from outside the organization are talked to about many "orthox" and "un-orthodox" biblical knowledge. It is also to my understanding that Jehovah's Witness do not follow the Watchtower as a guide, but a publication to learn form. They strictly follow Biblical understanding and are very willing to share with others who are interested. I hope I helped some.

If the ex-Jehovah's Witness has been disfellowshipped from the religion then yes, JWs are restricted from making any contact with them, unless it is an emergency.
