The answer is no. an IP address is not enough to do much of anything by itself. The only thing i have ever heard of that can record what you type is a key logger program. which has to be downloaded by you or anyone using your computer.

Highly unlikely unless they have spyware on your system. But just to be safe, if anyone ever asks for your IP tell them it's 127.0.0.1.

They'd have to pass you some kind of malicious program as well, that would allow them access to your computer and what's on it first. THEN they could definitely see what you're doing.
As if, This is completely impossible. I'm guessing some kid from the youtube street team told you he haxored you.
