I love eating pig so much I just dont care, I have always eaten pig and so have many generations of family and they seem fine. Besides this is an islamic site and they are bound to have some problems with pork, so i dont really take it too seriously.

I think that this site argues itself out of making any significant point, since it rightly says that associations are not cause/effect relationships. It also states (interestingly) that pork is a red meat and not a white meat (as it is marketed in Australia). I personally rarely eat pork, but do eat pig meat in the form of ham and bacon. I think any risks associated with pork are relative to risks associated with eating any food, and as such, moderation and handling food safely are important aspects (as with any food). The only thing that bothers me about pig meat (which is the same for any meat) is the way the pigs are treated while being farmed. Sadly (for the animals) this is not enough to stop me eating pig meat. I appreciate the link, by the way, it was an interesting read.

I don't eat pork, at all, so that information doesn't really directly affect me. However, I think Tani's answer is full of very good and sensible advice for anyone who is worried about eating pork or who is avoiding it for reasons other than religious beliefs.
