Texas Hold Em'. You are big blind ($400) mid tournament and kinda short stack. Short stack player to your left goes all in for $1700 pre flop. All others fold. You have $2000 chips remaining and it's $1300 to call. You have K8 suited. Do you call or fold?

I fold here, to make that raise from early position means he probably has you beat... he'll be moving on any ace or pocket pair I would expect. It is virtually your whole tournament you are gambling with, better to wait for a spot where you can be the one raising with K8 rather than calling with it in my opinion. If you could see his cards then it is just possible that you could have the pot odds to call, if he has a pair lower than 8s say, but I personally I wouldn't want to blow my stack calling here...
