Maybe you should read this... http://www.gunowners.org/sk0202.htm

Maybe after that you can lobby them to take our free speech away too.
-
Why don't you form such a lobbying group?
-
Why? So that every part of the USA can have the same high crime rates that New York and Washington and Great Britain have? (Which also have the strictest gun-control laws.)
-
Why would you want to? Aren't we losing enough rights as it is?

Though I disagree with your intent, it is inherently un-American to try and bar you from expressing your wishes. Here is how you can lobby the government for changes: 1 - Visit your elected representatives to explain your point of view and make your argument. 2 - Form a political action committee with like-minded people. Concentrating effort, resources, and money is generally more effective as pols have demonstrated they will follow the money and/or groups that prove they can deliver more votes. 3 - Register as a Federal lobbyist in Wahsington DC, though most find it easier to hire former pols or lobbying firms to do the work for them.

I agree with you that humans are not responsible or mature enough. That argument, however, can applied to almost everything humans do. Take our current climate crisis or our mishandling of the war as examples. I haven't seen a strong argument from you to support your desire. To sway people you have to provide so much more than what you have said. Simply saying "A person has a right to live without get he head blow off" isn't enough. I have the right to live without pollution. Odds are I'll die from that before I'll die from a gun shot. You need evidence to support your claim and you haven't provided it. I'm pro-gun by the way. I know more responsible gun carriers than irresponsible armed criminals.

Absolutely, you can join one of the thousands of anti gun lobby groups that already exist. Or, you can become President and appoint justices to the Supreme Court that agree with your view on the issue. But, you may have a tough time overcoming the fact that the Supreme Court has already ruled that the right to keep and bear arms is a "personal right" under the laws of the Constitution.
