I have a Mensa card, and 4 ASE certifications in my wallet. This would seem to qualify me as more intelligent in some areas. However, there is not a day of my life that goes by that I don't manage to learn something new, which means there are still people out there who are more intelligent than me.

More intelligent, by numerous measures and lots of successes in life. But this was a matter of the cosmic dice-roll. I do not count my intelligence and talent as any earned superiority on my part. I had intelligent parents who cared about their children. I had a granddad who had books and who loved music and nurtured those things in HIS children.

I've tried to do well with what I've been given. It hasn't been as easy as it might sound; I've played in some challenging games with people as bright as I am and brighter than I am. I have common sense as well as book smarts, which is a whole separate blessing.

I'd say I'm slightly more intelligent than the majority of people my age, not that that's saying much.

But any excess of intelligence I may have is more than made up for by my massive incompetence in everyday life, not to mention my lack of practical education.

Equal. It's hard to be anything more with dyslexia, ADD, and hyperactivity. I'm lucky I can get a sence... oh, look a chicken.

Than the majority of people? Equal or less. Why less? Well unless I'm just unlucky or too much of a pushover I would think that by now I should have been able to find a much more stable means of making a living and relationship.

I think I'm more intelligent than most people, but I'm too naive/lazy to do anything with it. I know this because of tests. Those standardized tests. I'm very good at bubbling-in, and I always get in the top tenth percentile. But, I suck at life. Really, you'd think someone as smart as me would be able to handle herself while doing daily tasks.

When it comes to intelligent, I have been tested using the Stanford Binet test (when I was 7 years old) and I scored higher than 98% of the other people who took the test. I have always been able to answer test questions very easily, and school subjects such as Math, Science, and History seemed to be easy to me. However, I feel that my motivation level, my socialization level, and my artistic level are way below the average. I haven't got a clue about fashion and some other things that seem to be so important to others.

I think I am probably more intelligent than the majority ( maybe not the "silent" majority though). I am skilled in a grat many areas, a sort of "jack of all trades". If I don't know haow to do something, I almost always figure it out on my own. Or if someone shows me something I usually grasp the concept on the first or second attempt. THE MAIN REASON that I consider myself to be more intelligent than the majority of the populace is this: I am not afraid to ask a question and I am not afraid to admit that I am wrong. (also I have a HUGE....(get your mind out of the gutter you pervert)vocabulary. That keeps me happy.

I try, hard as it may be,and it is very hard, not to compare myself with others. In other words I am very ,very far from perfect. It only causes separation and I want to unite with others and not live my life on comparisons.

In some ways I am much more intelligent, and in others I am embarrassingly stupid. I am a terrible judge of character and incredibly naive.

Observing this question from two different angles, I'd have to say that my IQ is pretty much average. But, I can make myself seem smarter, by being aware of what is happening in the world. A person can not change their IQ, but can certainly become more knowledgeable.

More intelligent. The average IQ for my age group is 100. I have an IQ of 150! Is that the majority of people though?
