I recycle as much as I can, use public transport for work and energy saving light bulbs at home. Little things but I guess it all helps.

We recycle what we can. We use as little packaged products as possible and try to choose those that don't come in tons of palstic and foam. We are improving our environment, incluidng alot of wildlife habitate and plantings. We don't use things that harm the planet when possible. We use safe anti-freeze and no salt around our house in winter. We try not to buy things tht won't last long but have long-lasting use and value, no faddish things. We don't use a garbage disposal, composting evrything instead or feeding it to our chickens. We heat with wood that we clear from our land instead of oil or gas heat. And we use a catalyitc converter on our stove. We use our car as little as possible and combine trips always. We added skylights so we don't have to turn onlights in the main part of our house. And I'm sure there are more ways.
