  • me too! we need to inspire the younger kids who only want t.v. and computer games!
  • I agree. But it can be a problem, I find it hard to walk out of a book shop without buying a book. I then get excited about the new book and start reading it, although I have not finished the previous book. So I end up having loads of partly read books.
  • No - Truly my eyes hurt to bad to read from a book now
  • I could survive, but I do love books like you and would be bored without them.I'm not so much a film person and rely more on books.
  • I love books too. I could survive, but my life wouldn't be as pleasant. Thankfully, my son seems to also be a book lover.
  • Books are my addiction. I love nonfiction and fiction. I practicaly have a library of books, with all the subjects in order. I used to work in a library so I know how to shelve them and then how to find them again. I love sci-fi and fantasy and throw in a little history, ancient history preferred. I usually have one book I keep in the car that I read out loud to my husband. We have read many a trilogy together. I even read the whole Bible out loud to him just driving around years ago. Right now we are reading the Sevenwaters Trilogy while waiting for Terry Goodkind to release the last of the Sword of Truth Books.
  • LOVE LOVE LOVE books. Could survive without them, but it wouldn't be a very entertaining survival.
  • I love to read and most of my reading is done by means of books and I have to read. I could probably survive but I wouldn't be very happy nor fulfilled.
  • Yes! I love them too. I like to read almost anything: Books, magazines, newspapers, Internet articles, etc.
  • I love books too. I gop through phases when i read vocariously and then dry peroids when i don't feel quite so inspired. I don't think computers will ever stop people buying books. There's something so user friendly about books, they are such nice things!
  • I have books literally everywhere in my small apt. I'm sure I'd survive w/o them, but I'd be miserable!
  • I have to read or would go crazy...you can have my ipod..you can have my radio...you can have my tv...but do not take away my books. When I wass younger I read the encyclopedias because I had read everything in the tiny town library (one room carnegie one)..
  • I definetly could survive without them. I'm not much for books really. There are only a select few that I like, and none of them are your regular novels and that kind of thing. Most of my books are texts and guides and stuff, mostly historical crap or computer crap. Yes, I am very boring.
