Does anyone else think that the fun in answerbag has diminished a bit, after the new point system?

No. once you get over the hurdle of the current level the next ones wont be so hard

Not at all :-) I wasent very happy when I saw how many points I needed for the next level, took me a bit by surprise. But they are only levels, the main points being helpful and having some fun are still there :-D

Not for me, as points were never the attraction with Answerbag in the first place. I like the community and participating.

I'm glad I don't need to get a staggering 13,000 points any more to level up. I can deal with a fair and feasible 3500 points. It's as fun as it always has been.

i ve seriously noticed it,i can be on for hours and feel as if almost all of the regulars are logged off.there definitly has been a change .

I'm not used to the layout still, but the point system is better IMO. So the answer is, no I guess.

It was fun to rise through the ranks -- now I feel like I'll never get to the next level. Points aren't really the point of being here. But it did add to the excitement. I do miss the old point system. I'm not sure if people are giving points less freely now, but it also feels like they might be. I don't feel that the point changes were explained to us members. I was all sort of a surprise. At first, I thought it was some sort of technical error.

I don't think it's diminished, but I do think it's changed. I used to have a lot of fun challenging myself, asking and answering questions to level up. Now that that is so far from reach, I spend more time on comment threads with friends and have a ball!

When it first changed I was like forget this, I'm outta this site. But the points whittle down and the fun continues, very addicting but better than cigarettes for the idle hand.

Yes.If they're going to have a points system, the 'bag' should be visible, as a measure, IMO, like it used to be.

No, I think Answerbag is great still.

No, I just go about my way, no matter how many or how few points. I focus on the community and what questions I can answer, what things I have questions about. I like being friendly with people and the comments and they don't give or take point there.
