If there is indeed a Heaven, I sure as hell he hope he isn't there, because that is NOT the kind of person I would like to spend time with in eternal paradies.

If he were right and Hillary Clinton were the devil, I think she will not let him in hell either... http://stuartdelony.wordpress.com/2006/09/26/so-is-hillary-evil-or-the-devil/

ha ha Jerry Falwell is sitting at the right hand of his father.. SATAN!!

Well, I don't believe in a heaven myself, but for the sake of answering the question, surely not... if I am wrong on both counts and he does go to heaven, then please, send me to hell.

I think it's best left between him and God. He might have given his heart to the Lord and asked for forgiveness before he died. I don't know, but hopefully he went to heaven. I don't wish hell for anyone.

Jerry Falwell, was that his name, or his plans for the afternoon? Jerry, Fall-well? Yes he did. Not a big fan.
-
most likely not.

http://www.slate.com/id/2166337/ -- He's not much of a rep for religion, especially organized religion.

If a hypocret and false prophet like Falwell goes to heaven I'm glad I'm not a Christain. Because I would be very angry that he's there mucking the place up. I can hear GreatGrandma now giving God a piece of her mind. "You let who in?" But that's okay, since heaven is a place without sin I know he's going down. And not being Christain I'm not going there either.

Heaven does not exist, so he is not there. I am, however, glad that the karmic debt he worked up in this life is not mine.

Ol' Jerry wasn't a Mormon...

You know, I find it interesting how people only want to remember the bad in a person and never the good. Despite what you think about Falwell's stands on certain issues, he also undeniably did a lot of good. He helped a lot of disadvantaged people get educations so that they could support themselves. He also opened a home for unwed mothers so that they would have an alternative to aborting their babies. He did a lot of good in his life. I am not trying to defend Falwell. There are many things on which I disagreed with him. However, I find it very interesting how it is that those that disagree with someone only want to look at what they perceive as the bad that that person did. Such people never want to look at the good. As a result, we get questions like this one which are very judgmental. Those of who are condemning Falwell are engaging in precisely the same kind of judgmentalism for which you are condemning him. So, how does that make you any better? When it comes to determining whether a person is going to heaven or hell, none of us is qualified to make that judgment. The only One that can truly make such judgments is He who can look at the true intents of an individual's heart. So, I prefer to leave it up to Him to decide who is going where in the next life.

Your bias is shown by the fact that you only presented a very small portion of the man's life. You only presented the negative. Instead of looking at the man's whole life you are only looking at a small sliver of it and asking people to make judgments about his eternal reward. You are asking people to make the same kinds of judgments for which you obviously condemn him.
