I like both. Long hair is more maintainence to keep brushed and keep the funiture clean, but its more fun to pet. It really ist that big a difference though, to tell you the truth. Id go on personality of the cat over coat length.

I love cats in general but I favor long coats, to me they are just so beautiful. I actually have two of them myself :).

My neighbor has a long haired cat that is so soft I never want to stop petting it.
