Do you get offended when people who don't believe in god say they hate him, or just do blashmemy around you to anoy you? (Like when they say, thank you god, or god bless you, or just be sarcastic and say sarcastic things)

Don't pay attention to morons. If they say that they don't believe in God, how can they hate something that doesn't exist? Doesn't make sense, because whoever says something like that is an idiot.

Never. We all are entitled to our own beliefs. We have the power within ourselves to make that choice and it would be wrong of me to condemn a person for their belief. To each his own! I bless everyone and wish them well.

That's just rude, you shouldn't exploit someone's beliefs whether it be about religion or politics. If it's a matter of them expressing their beliefs thats one thing, but if they are purposely doing it to be rude and offensive they are immature.

Not really, after all anyone who says they hate god can't not believe in god. How can you hate something that doesn't exist? They're just hypocrites then.

Well, I do think that people who are nasty to you for believing in God are being immature. As for people who admit that they hate God and mean it, well, at least that's better than people who say they love God just because they think it will earn them a place in heaven even though they secretly hate God.

I don't believe in God as in the religious sense or the bible sense. But I do think its imature for people to be sarcastic toward other people's beliefs or say god bless you in a sarcastic way. However, I do like to say 'god bless you' to people as a universal expression of goodwill. I think when someone says they hate God they may be refering to what they were taught about a fire and birmstone God or how some Christians try to force God down other people's throats. They may mean they hate hearing about God.

First, look at your question; how can a person hate someone they do not believe in and to them does not exist? Why do they make references to God in many different forms if they are convinced God does not exist? Is a person able to believe in "nothing" as in does not exist? There was a time when it annoyed me; it doesn't anymore. I have learned I can talk until I am blue in the face and it will do no good. On the other hand if someone comes and askes me to explain why I believe God does exist and how do they find this God I can tell them because they have an interest. Other than that I tell them, "God loves them and so do I!"

it annoys me..i think it's disrespectful..if i know someone is a certain way i won't ridicule them for it and i expect the same respect.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'm in no place to prove that God exists or that he/she/it shouldn't be hated. I strongly believe that no matter how many people believe in one thing, one religion, faith is extremely personal and different for everyone. If that means hating God for whatever reason...somewhere deep down they have their own system of faith. A lot of people who say stuff like that also just have something against God as a person, as portrayed by many books and stuff. Most of them son't see God as whatever they want it to be, but as one solidified character and nothing else. And once that idea is deemed stupid, they refuse to see anything else. So just as much as people who follow a religion can be stubborn and closed-minded, as can those who choose to laugh at religion. I say stuff like 'My God' and 'Bless you' and so on, and I don't think I've ever had anyone make fun of that. If they did, I wouldn't take it personally. I don't really get annoyed easily and I know they're just silly. So it's OK. :)
