Has anyone been bitten/stung by a 22 caliber ant (not sure of the real name) in Central America?

I've heard on a bullet ant before but not a 22 caliber ant. http://www.sasionline.org/antsfiles/pages/bullet/bulletbio.html I have never been bitten by one but this guy named Ruud on Animal Planet let one bite him and he actually teared up it hurt so much.

I've heard of Grasscutter and Leaf Cutter ants and Army ants in Central America. Theres another by the plateaus in the rain forests of So America that has a name similar to bullet ant and its painful I'm not an expert on insects. I just watch the nature shows on T.V. esp Cable. Thanks for posing such an interesting question though.

It goes by the spanish name OLOCICA,(at least in Nicaragua) I was biten once in the back of my neck, it felt like godzilla bit me and took a chunk off my neck. I was in severe pain for about 10 minutes. The worst pain from an insect bite I have ever felt and I have been stung by wasps, bees, hornets none of those compare to the pain caused by the OLOCICA ant. The inflamation last for about a day or so, but the story last for ever, you will never forget a bite that painful.
