Not where I come from. There's nothing sexy about a broad Newcastle accent, (sorry to any Geordies reading). Some Welsh accents can be, and some Scottish, but to me the last thing most English regional accents make me think of is 'sexy'. Geordie, Brummie, Liverpudlian, Mancunian - no! There might be a few, perhaps soft Devonian/Cornish, but these are rarely heard. If you're referring to the 'public school accent' as displayed by the likes of Hugh Grant, again I'm afraid the answer would be 'no'.

Regional accents abound in GB, and some of them don't sound one bit sexy. And of course, ANY accent is only as sexy as its content....
Even the highest-class accent, the "Oxbridge" accent, doesn't do it for me. I've seen too many skits involving the "upper-class-twit" stereotype for this accent to set the heart fluttering....
