  • Well, you can't get more diabled than being joined to another human being. If the surgery is relatively safe adn there's a chance of success, separated twins have a chance at a more normal existence.
  • Well I'd argue conjoined twins are disabled anyway, they're attached to each other and aren't as 'able' to do things that people who aren't conjoined can do. I can't say 'all conjoined twins should be separated', regardless of whether they will be disabled or not after the operation, because it's a very personal decision for the families of the twins to make (or the twins themselves if they are old enough). However, personally I think if they were my children I'd have them separated, risks or no risks.
  • depends on whether the disability will be greater or lesser then the disability of conjointure.
