  • Artificial sleeping aids and ADD medications are thought to increase the liklihood of sleep paralysis. Low levels of melatonin are also linked to episodes of sleep paralysis. After using MDMA, both seratonin and melatonin levels are depleted, which could also increase the liklihood of sleep paralysis. There is no real reason why this happens to some people and not others. Why do some lifetime smokers live to be 100 years old and someone who never took a drag in their lifetime dies at 50 from lung cancer?
  • Well, I just took e 3 days ago and I actually slept better than normal, and I had a great come-down also. I think drugs' effects differ on an individual scale. I noticed I have a mild desire for e but i have a strong enough will to resist it, however my friend is not quite so gifted in self-control.
  • omg........it all makes sense now...every night after i took e, the next morning i would wake up and try to fall back asleep for hours straight and everytime get sleep paralysis...i thought something was really wrong with me! wait..maybe there is..i spent $510 on E in two months...it was only like 45 rolls alltogether...not bad, right?
  • O man, I always thought they were panic attacks....I found out it's sleep paralysis...but I saw an evil face one time, my eyes were closed but I wasn't sleeping, and sometimes I will hear a very loud sound like something about to crash and it's in the middle of my paralysis but I have to fight to get out of it, and I can't move for aminute, it's the scariest shit, but it only happens when I take X, I roll a lot though like a shit load, I did 17 with my fiance, half and half that is.....but wow I didn't know for the longest time but I knew it was the X! but what explains the loud sounds and the scary evil face?
  • I get sleep paralysis all the time after I eat too much e. It scares me sometimes and because of that I decided to do a search on it and found something that explains that lack of sleep can cause it and the website had some interesting things to say about coping with sleep paralysis. goto www.metafilter.com/37264/Sleep-paralysis. It doesn't say anything about e in particular but it definately helps understand it a little.
  • i use to get night terrors when i was about 8 or 9. its stopped now but since i began taking mdma ive started having sleep paralysis, which at first i had no clue what it was. a particularly bad one made me determined to find out what was wrong with me, because i thought it was drugs just making me go mad. i still wasnt sure if mdma was the cause, i thought it might be ketamine or weed so ive been keeping clean for two weeks and its all stopped. im actually trying mdma again today, bacause i never get sleep paraylisis if i have it in small doses, only if i binge on it.
  • The xtc does not only mess up the balance of the serotonine in the brain; drugs in general make the mind & spirit much more sensitive. it is as if you open doorways to other dimensions. When you used e, the recovery phase is the most delicate phase in general, spiritual entities are likely to influence you, the astral body is more easely seperated from the physical body in people, the seeing in sleepparalyse are not halucinations, they are being attracted to you since the spirit doors are more open than when you didnt use drugs. It should be said that ketamine is especially dangerious in opening doors and attracting entities that can influence your thoughts and what you see.....
  • maybe youre allergic to it
