  • I sure think that I do.
  • The way I see it, some things go our way in life because we work for them, but that doesn't mean that we have "Control", because we only have certain oppurtunities to work towards our goals and desires, and those oppurtunities are, for the most part, governed by forces outside of our control. The easiest, most realistic way to go through life is to not have any expectation of control over anything around us, and simply to seize the chances we do get, and adapt to the changes around us that are beyond our control. The only thing we can expect to have a garuntee of immediate control over is the few square centimeters inside of our skulls, (and sometimes even that's a stretch), but you'd be surprised how far a good mastery of controlling and being satisfied with those few square centimeters can get you.
  • yes and no. I mean after you get married and have childran there are others who are playing big roles in your life. If you work for some one and have co workers they are also there effecting things. I think the only why you would have complete control over your life is if you were locked away some where and not dependant on anyone and no one be dependent on you.
  • Partially. The ideal thing would be to have control over our most of our actions. There are many external elements that can affect our lives without warning.
  • To an extent. We can choose to work or be unemployed. We all have to pay taxes, no way around that. We can study hard to be successfull or just do enough to get by.
  • In many ways we don't have control. But what we do have control of is how we react to what happens to us. We can be miserable about the bad things that happen to us, or we can shrug them off, and just get on with life.
  • It all depends. At some points in our lives, we do have control, at others it is infuenced to the point, by others, or some circumstances, that we do not have control.
  • Yes, in that we can choose to act in certain ways that will better or degrade our lives. No, in that no matter what we do, we are still going to die someday.
  • As much as the law allows...Dont step over the line..
