Thats hard to do! If you get multiple hard drives, they should be the same manufacturer. But the rest of the components are most likely gonna be from different manufacturers. Hard drive companies usually just concentrate on the hard drives for some reason.

Nope, often quite good to have the same brands for connection problmes etc
