I use an anti-fly spray. Works on the buggers too. (be aware that the stuff is also toxic for fishes if you own an aquarium)

They are fruit flies or gnats... I suggest taking a good shower. :P

Just kidding... here's a good article on how to get rid of the pesky pests.

The gnats liked my bathroom mirror. When they landed I would hit them fast with my rubber ducky (it was something near me). I just killed like 20 of them one by one. I didn't know what else to do.

  • Eww i hate gnats. Their attracted to brightly coloured things (i remember once we had a red and yellow slide and it was covered in them!). I dont know why they stay where they are but i know if you ride through them at high speed on your bike you get them in your eyes! (think thats why i hate them so much, happened numerous times as a kid whilst riding down alleyways)

Noseeums. If they're inside, you need finer-mesh window screens to keep them out, as they are tiny enough to fit through the mesh on a regular storm window or door. You should also use low or high pressure sodium lights in and around your home, and make sure you don't overwater your garden beds (which promotes mold that attracts all kinds of gnats).

Any bug repellant with DEET in it will keep them away from your body while you're out and about in your yard.
