The fleas in my house are really attracted to my blood, and I can't afford any more bites, so I need something faster than it will take to cure my pet (I know it's because of my dog). Can I eat anything before I go to sleep to prevent any further bites?

NOthing will get into your blood or sysytem fast enough to work tonight. Might try sleeping with pajamas so they don't have easy access to your legs or wrap a flea collar around your ankles but put socks on first. I think you are just going to have to wait for a good flea treatment and something like Advantage for your dog. And then be sure to vacuum your house each day to get up all the eggs and dead fleas.

Its best to use medicines like Advantage or Frontline on your pet first. Once they get out of your pet they won't survive for long. You can buy them from your Vet or if you want to save money there are internet sites like www.epetdrugs.com where you can buy them cheap. Hope my answer will help.

Garlic, eat it, feed it to your dog, and ADAM'S flea spray will do the trick. It smells great, a little pricy but it works fast (less than 2 hours). But the fleas will try to jump off of him, so I would take him outside and do that then, spray your house with it. It is safe to use in your home, and around children. FANTASTIC stuff! That'll work before night fall. Plus your house and pooch will smell soooooo good.

Put frontline on as many of your animals as you can afford to. You get it from your vet.It has to be frontline not the stuff you can buy at the store. It's not cheap but it will get rid of your flea problem quickly and it works 100% even in the yard. Also, Frontline says to reapply every month,but, it works much longer 4-6 months or longer. You will need to vaccum your carpets often to remove dead fleas and larva. I would also wash your throw rugs and bedding. Within a couple of days you should be rid of the little boogers. Good luck!!

vacuuming is one of the best way to get rid of fleas. wash your pets and their bedding...flea bomb your house...spray your yard and then vacuum thoroughly.put some flea powder on the floors and in the vacuum bag. it will rake a few days to weeks to get ahead of the fleas. try to keep up a routine. fleas breed every week or so and can multiply quickly. pet dips, shampoos and medications for fleas are readily available. i have 6 search and rescue dogs and i have to bathe then thoroughly after each rescue. and often etc good luck
