Does anyone remember the cute 'note' for teenagers, about them wanting to do things their own way, and ending with someting similar to 'Then move out now and pay your own way while you still know everything!'?

Oh! I went to this old town where there were a bunch of shops selling little knicknacks and signs and stuff. That was one of them! My dad thought that was hilarious, and keeps bringing it up. I never thought it was all that funny.

You just brought back memories Keysha. How very true that is. but you can't convince teens of that.. I worked the school long enough to know that "teens know everything". Too bad they can't see the future on how much they don't know. Great question.

If you don't give teenagers the ability to do many things in their own way, then they will never learn how to live when it does come time for them to move out. Teens still need guidance, but it is very important for them to have independence too. You don't want them staying at home until their mid thirties do you?
