  • Never say, "I am too old" for anything. It's not that it's bad grammar, it's because it's NOT TRUE! Do whatever you want, at any age. It's only "too late" when you're dead. Go for it!
  • Read! You pick up the meanings from the context of the story plus you visually see it so you can absorb the way it is spelled.
  • Never too old for community college, or just to pick up an English book.
  • Read, and read some more. Notice how the authors you like use words, phrases and such. Write and ask people you trust for constructive criticism. And while you may be too old for school, you certainly do prove you aren't too old to learn- and you obviously want to learn, or you wouldn't have asked *huge smile of encouragement*
  • Read. Read everything. The backs of boxes, books, magazines, road signs. The more you read, the more you learn to recognize words, expand your vocabulary and understand grammar. You're never too old to learn.
  • You can read alot. You can even get grammer work books. I have some at my house, that I would like to study here soon.
