  • I am female.... I have busted my chin open completely twice. I have had 11 stitches in my chin in total. I fell stepping out of the tub when I was 5 and had to get 6 stitches. When I was 2 my babysitter took me to the doctor, they wouldn't let her come back there with me, and the nurse left the room with me sitting on the table. I fell off and I had to get 5 stitches.
  • I've noticed that as well. My brother split his chin open on the patio when he was like six. That kid is always getting hurt....
  • I'm female, and I have a scar on the bottom of my chin and just under my lip as well. Both came from running around as a little kid and running into hard heavy furniture (the one on my lip came from biting right through it). I also nearly chopped off three fingers as a kid and have some impressive scars on my hands that are 20 years old and are still as vivid as when they healed.
  • I don't have a scar on my chin. Have scar tissue on my forehead from basketball and a tender nose from ski jumping though. Best I know of to avoid scaring, for a guy, is not to shave, and don't face plant in a moggle.
  • I'm female and I have a 6 cm scar on the underside of my chin, from where I hit the edge of a concrete step when I fell over as a toddler.
  • I apologize for the "guy question" start on that. It sounds like its more or a general childhood thing than a boy childhood thing. Hmm, learning as I live.
  • I have a scar on my chin, but it is an acne scar. When I first encountered acne vulgaris, I thought that the best way to get rid of it would be to scratch all the time. I was horribly misguided
  • My husband has 2 tiny weenie ones on his knee where he had keyhole surgery and thats all.
  • i'll answer this and i'm a female. my brother had a scar on the bottom of his chin from chasing the neighbor girl to steal a kiss when he was 13, he fell on barbed wire. i do say he learned a lesson that day.
  • I have a scar on my chin (and I am female, though I am sure there are some who find that debatable) from where I cut my throat and chin open on the bath when I was 3. I thought it had disappeared, but it hasn't. My dad has one though from prison, and he won't tell me what he was doing to get it. I am sure there are many other people with a scar on their chin. Seems pretty popular, but then I guess it's easy to catch and the first thing to fall on when you fall.
  • My brother has a scar on the bottom of his chin from slipping on the bathroom floor and hitting his chin on the bathtub when he was 3.
  • Mine is from my jaw hitting the floor everytime I see Kylie Minogue.
  • Drunk, walked out into the darkness to pee, tripped on something (I don't know/remember what it was), smacked my chin off the cement, and cut it up pretty damn good... so there's a gash now. That's partially why I grew a goatee type thing... lol WICKED question
  • This is super funny to me. I started to ask a question, deleted what I wrote, and this question popped up in the search results for..Nothing? Anywhooo. . I have a small X on the bottom of my chin. Two different scars from two different times. They have been there most of my life.
  • Female here with a scar on the bottom of my chin.
  • Several. And on many other parts of my face, too. Shrapnel. +5
  • I have a scar on the bottom of my chin from slipping and falling on concrete when I was riding my stick horse at age 5. I guess most people who have a scar on the bottom of their chin got it from a similar fall.
  • My younger brother has a scar on the bottom of his chin that he blames on me!lol!
  • Hah! I got mine slipping in the shower at college waiting to take the final water test for my lifeguard certification. My chin stopped my7 fall and 7 stitches later I had to wait and take a make up test. The shower in college slip and fall reason never fails to raise an eyebrow or 2...you had to be there! lol!
  • Yep, got it from my face making contact with a tree branch when I was a kid +5
