I dont know. i have always been very upfront with people about who i like and everything. the way i see it, who cares if they know. you may find out they like you to.

Because any time you lay your heart on the line, you risk rejection - right where it hurts the most. People inherently fear rejection. It's one of the most painful, damaging, self-esteem-destroying emotions, we can experience. Fear of rejection is deep-seated in the human psyche and goes back to childhood, imo. If you're a kid and the people who should care for and nurture you instead reject you, you'll die. A child may not recognize that consciously, but somewhere, on some level, he knows that rejection = abandonment = death. You outgrow that to some degree, but I believe it's impossible to completely erase the basic fear.

Rejection: plain and simple... telling someone how you really feel is putting yourself where you can get seriously hurt.

in case they say nasty things back to you if you say something nasty to them, which would make you feel rubbish. or in case they reject you if you saysomething good. maybe a lot of people just cant find the right words. i dont really know, im always upfront, if i love somebody they know about it, and if i dnt perticularly like them they know about it.
