I don't pay much for shoes, I have to admit. I am not a shoe person. My second daughter is another story...she manages a shoe shop...need I say more? LOL

It was $39.99 + tax @ Big 5. I believe it's Asic Gel running shoe which lasted about 3 years. Will I spend more next time? You bet! You can't put money on something that gives you everyday comfort. I've wore shoes from $13 to $40 so I know the difference. I'm not saying the more it is, the better, but at least you will get a solid pair of shoes above $40 range.
