Has anyone of you played Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring? I haven't played it for a long time, but I just remembered that I can't succeed in killing the Watcher (the big octopus thing before Moria). any ideas?

Same here, haven't played it in a while, but if I remember correctly, you have to time it right but as if you sit back and watch you will notice that after the tentacles attack there is a second or two before they attack again. While they are not attacking, run up and attack one of the tentacles. As soon as you do this, its head will appear, step back and let em have it with your projectile weapons. Hope this helps.
