lmao. Well, you have a few options today. You don't need the dark glasses (unless it's sunny out). Let me first say that I recommend writing a short, concise contract in Word. Lay out the details of the transaction - both party names, the vehicle info (make, model, year, colour, VIN), date, time, location, amount agreed upon, and any terms of the deal (like snow tires included for example). It's also good if you can get a witness. Before taking the keys or handing over any cash, get him to sign the contract and make sure you sign it too. If he wants, make a copy. This is the cheapest insurance you can get. If you want to be 100% sure of his ID, then photocopy his license. He may think you're insane or paranoid but it's worth it. With that out of the way, some options are: 1) Personal Cheque 2) Electronic bank transfer 3) Cash (not recommended) 4) Cashier's cheque 5) Credit card (not sure how easy it would be but it IS an option) 6) Paypal That's all I can think of as far as transferring money between two people. I'd also suggest getting a carfax report, etc. before buying it. Just my two cents :) Good luck, Hope this helps
