Soloman-he settled the baby dispute. Two women claimed to be the mother of a baby. Soloman said cut the baby in half and give each woman 1/2. He knew the real mother would never let her baby be killed, and would give the baby up.

King Solomon was King David's, the second king of Israel, son. He found favor with God and God told him to ask for whatever he wanted and it would be given to him. Solomon asked for wisdom to rule God's people. This delighted God so much that he not only gave Solomon wisdom he gave him great wealth and prestige too. Solomon also built the first Temple in Jerusalem. It was a magnificent temple. Sadly, Solomon let his foreign wives influence him in his later life and he turned away from true worship. This caused God to allow the nation of Israel to split from the nation of Judah and this led to great apostasy. This eventually led to the annihilation of Israel and the exile of Judah. Solomon is credited with writing most of the book of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Song of Songs.

I'd say it is a tie between David and Solomon. David was great because he worshipped God. 2 Samuel 5:9-11 states "David then took up residence in the fortress and called it the City of David. He built up the area around it, from the supporting terraces inward. And he became more and more powerful, because the Lord God Almighty was with him." There are many, many verses in the Holy Bible to show how and why God was so pleased with David. For Solomon there are also many reasons as to why God blessed him. 1 Kings 6:11-13 states "The word of the Lord came to Solomon: 'As for this temple you are building, if you follow my decrees, carry out my regulations and keep all my commands and obey them, I will fulfill through you the promise I gave to David your father. Solomon, King David's son. He was very young and worried about leading the Lord's people. God asked him what he wanted and He would grant it ..Solomon asked for WISDOM and this pleased the Lord....He not only made him the wisest man but granted him many more blessings(riches). God loved Solomon from birth. David gave Solomon the nickname Jedidiah, which means"Beloved of Jehovah", because of the interest of the Lord. 2 Samuel 12:24 & 25. 1Kings 3:3-14.
