I don't know why this was downrated. I think it's a great question. Many want to live for long. But I would rather die at the age of 60. This would give me enough time to educate my children if I get any, and also be at their marriage. At 60yo I won't be placing too much of a burden on my children and family. I also won't be suffering (hopefully). Without modern medicine, I think this would be the average life expectancy, the way nature meant it to be. But then again, If at 60 I feel that I maybe of use to the world, (i.e. I'm in the middle of developing a great theory), I may want to extend my life haha.

Like someone already mentioned: Great Question. I would like to Die at age 300. I think by then I should have achieved most things I want to achieve. I think maybe if people lived alot longer, they wouldnt live for the now as much as they do, because we would know that we had to live with the greater consequences of our actions! (People wouldnt pollute and waste so much, knowing that they will have to live in the filth, and deal with the problems)

Well yeah, when you ARE 99 of course you wanna make it to the big 100. More people don't live that long than do. I wouldn't wanna make that choice. Takes the surprise out of it. But then again I could also do a bunch of really dangerous things cos I know I wouldn't be killed!! But I could still break my neck and be paralyzed for the rest of it. So no. Just surprise me.

As long as medical science "miracles" could keep me healthy and happy, and slow or stop the aging process, why put a limit on lifespan? As far as the way things are today, I guess I would probably want to stop living when some illness made life miserable, so whatever age that comes.
