If I were a mother, I would make sure I knew I at LEAST knew the address where my kids were staying. I know my mother sure did :P

hmmmm...that rings a bell ....her daughter could have called to inform.not intending to be rude..but i would have a doubt that she was out with a guy

My mom never let me leave the house without knowing where I was going, even when I was older with a cell phone. Whenever I would spend the night at someone's house, she would go over there first to meet the parents so she knew them and knew exactly where I would be. I would just tell your friend to take the precautions necessary to know more about where her daughter is because things are different in this day and age, even compared to 10 years ago when I was in high school. In the meantime, she needs to call her daughter's friends and try to figure out where she is at and keep calling her cell.

I would want the name address and phone where she stayed!! Kids and cells are not to be the only resource of info when it comes to spending the night. Is the girl still gone if so call the police!!

well she should call her daughters other friends to find her... her friends have a better chance of find of her

Get her a cell phone then no excuses

If the case is real and happens now, as it is monday, if she has not heard of her daughter now, probably call the police. Naturally it depends of many other things, for instance how old her daughter is, has she done this kind of things before etc. As it is told, it could be that she did not even stay a the friends house, but she just said she would. Mayybe she just have a communication problem with her daughter and could try to solve it after she came back.
