Bride and groom cut the wedding cake and do the traditional feed-each-other the first bit. Then each smushes the gooey cake bit onto the other's face. Unclassy and disgusting? Or just good fun?

In my opinion it is the immature behavior of a sibling trying to be a clever smart ass at the cost of making their new spouse look stupid. Showing off for the crowd by performing a "look at me, look at me, I made my spouse look foolish in front of a bunch of people, aren't I cool?".

To me unclassy and disgusting and inappropriate. So weird that has become so accepted and even treasured by lots of people when I don't remember it ever being done forty or fifty years ago. Have no idea why people find that appealing.
