Question

Help answer this question below.

I have been dating a guy for over a year-I know he's "not that into me" -I've met someone else and would like to start dating him. The problem is....I made plans & put money on a vacation to Paris in July with the first guy-how do I break it off?

Cancel your plans and get a refund, do what will make you feel happy, be honest with your self and guy nr1. Don’t waste time honey, because NR1 is wasting yours!!!!

Be straight up with him and break it off now. If you lose some money, too bad. It would be very wrong to play with somebodys emotions so.

Besides Paris has a way of changing your perspective, if you go you could end up in love with the wrong guy. You should always be very careful who you take as a companion to Paris.

DO NOT go on a "romantic" vacation with a guy you are planning on breaking up with. If you are going to break up with him, just do it, but do it before you further your plans

Everyone is giving a normal, boring answer so I felt I had to interject.

Why not plan to break up, and tell him on the plane ride to Paris? It would be nuts. You'd have this giant animosity at the start of a vacation and you'd be unable to get rid of your new ex. You'd be forced to hang out and probably share a room. You could enjoy Paris on your own terms and have an emotionally fucked-up roller coaster ride all the way! Find new love! Rekindle the old love! Make him jealous! Be made to be jealous! Learn what you like and hate about each other without the distance a normal break-up creates! (no i'm not being sarcastic. these are the things novels are made of)
