Where is the question here? Sounds like more of a complaint to me. Regardless, the computer systems are owned by the company you work for, not you. They say what they may be used for and what they may not be used for. Use of company computers fall under the same ethical and legal guidelines concerning such things as copier resources for personal gain. If you want to look at it on a more personal level, think of it this way: My house, my rules. Your house, your rules. If I come over to your place, I must follow your rules. I do not touch, operate, disturb, or otherwise mess with anything beyond what you allow me to do. 'nuff said.
