Sterotypes.

I think the worst thing is acceptance of stupidity. People can do downright mean and degrading things to other people just because they "constitutionally" can. I think our society has lost it's morals and because our government stands by and lets it happen, it keeps getting worse and worse. I can hardy imagine how things will be 10 or 15 years from now. I think this world is going to hell in a hand-basket and nobody seems to care. It seems like most people are just in it for themselves and could care less about others. I wish more people gave a damn about more important things and get over themselves and let's start having fun again. Life rushes by too fast these days to be mean hateful people.

Apathy. It really gets my goat. Complaining about the government but not getting out and voting to change things in a positive direction.

So many people's lack of awareness about the way they are maniplated by people in marketing, advertising, and the mass media who are paid to do exactly that. People do have free will, but there are so many messages, such a bombardment of stimuli, that if something looks attractive enough and easy enough, many people grab it/do it/buy it/think it withOUT thinking about it. I've studied persuasion, and the techniques of manipulation are so well-honed and so pervasive that many people aren't even aware of the extent to which we're being pushed, marketed, led. The decision process is short-circuited. I'm not saying everybody falls for this - I'm pretty skeptical myself - but there seems to be very little TIME for reflection and not all that much inclination to reflect. (I'm not a negative person - just answering the Q)

religious and political dogma. it's so corrupt! and people eat it all up and try to force feed it to others with better sense!

It's ignorance of Economics, history, and political science. I blame the Democrats. In their zeal to improve education they have gotten rid of all the subjects that would make people see that their way of doing things doesn't work in the long run.

PEOPLE ARE DUMB

People are selfish, weak, brittle, and corrupt. I know less than 10 people in my life who I genuinely like. I hate how people act like they are superior to me; when I notice people do this I visualize myself disabling them and ruining any of their future dreams.

I hate the fact that people are very materialistic, how everyone tries to out do one another, people trying to lve up to societys' expectatons instead of being urself and doing your own thing, how we have to pay thousands of dollars and go in debt to gain more knowledge to make more money, the lack of respect we have for one another.

A lack of personal responsibility.

Hypocrisy of everybody who reads this, of myself and anyone at all. Talking about change, yet doing nothing. Criticising our society and yet wanting to be part of it. Condemning politics yet refusing to speak out yourself. Making someone else responsible for one's own inadequacy. Not accepting others because you're not accepted the way you are. The impossibility of escaping the system. The non-existence of freedom... "Oh brave new world that has such people in it"

Other's intolerance about people's opinions. If they think that should have an opinion, so should everyone else, whether they agree or not.
