  • The Buddha died peacefully at the age of 80. The death may have been triggered by the consumption of a dish called 'Sukaramaddava' although this is disputed as the Buddha was showing signs of illness before he ate that particular meal. As far as I'm aware crucifixion wasn't practised in that part of Asia at the time.
  • He died of old or some other cause at age 80. They did not crucify people in Asia then or ever that I know of or have ever read.
