My toshiba tv's power indicator flashes steady, instead of a solid red...the picture also flashes in and out...no sound...and the screen, when it does flash on, is magenta...any ideas?

  I need a 50" big screen tv screen. They are discontinued and I need one to replace mine in my TV. It is a Toshiba Model#'s 50A61,or 50A62. There are more than one layer to the screen and I need both. Brand new would be $260 but has been discontinued. Help
