the real question is God so powerful that he can make a rock so heavy even he cant lift it?
-
because we have free will, so we make our own choices.it wouldnt be much fun if we all walked around like robots not being able to make our own choices
-
He wanted us to have free will. It is true that He knew we would fail Him, that's why before the world began it was already settled that He would send His Son Jesus Christ to pay for our sins by dying in our place and purchasing our salvation with His own precious blood. It was settled that He would raise from the dead 3 days later and live forever to be our Saviour. What have to do is accept, repent, and believe. Thank you and God bless you!

because there is no such thing as god, humans evolved from little single cell organisms!

Just because he has prescience doesn't mean he hs to use it always and for everything. We were not created robots that would automaticaly do everything just the way he wanted. We had a choice, to obey and show our love and respect for his soveriegnty, for what he had done for us or disobey. Adam and Eve chose to disobey his law and show disrespect for his authority.

They did not fail him. He knew what would happen, and he knew it was necessary for our salvation. Otherwise he could simply have left that tree out of the garden.

1) Even (most) Christians believe that the Eden story is merely a parable of sorts. 2) I believe the God and Goddess created us not to be perfect replicas of themselves - that'd be boring for all parties. But instead, as imperfect souls that had to work really hard on their relationship with their god/s/ess/esses. Haven't you ever been in a relationship that was kind of hard to keep together, but after things settled down, you kind of appreciated and loved each other even more since you had made it through the hard patches and didn't give up out of love for one another? It's kind of like that.

he could see them learning from it in the bigger picture maybe??? just a guess

The physical man was never created perfect, God said it was "good", never said "perfect". (Ecc 7:13) Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked? To know we fail and fall short of what God expects, is what He expects. His strength is made perfect in weakness.

ALL of us have always existed. We 'commenced' as intelligences in the vastness, if you like, of space. As intelligences, we have always been our own agents of choice. God has always granted us choice in everything - including whether we wanted to come here to earth. All He has done re our creation, is to clothe our intelligences with spirit, and then to allow that we were born dressed in mortal bodies. God knew the weaknesses of Adam and Eve, and in fact, of every one of us, from the Beginning. All of us would have been too weak to resist that curiosity eventually! We have now learned good from evil - which Adam and Eve did not understand before partaking.
