I have 64 channels on our expanded basic and 36 or 38 channels on Sky Angel

I have about 999. But I don't get all of them. If I had to count I might kill myself. xD

I get zero cable channels. One should not that the number of cable channel is not equal to the number of channels that your TV goes up to. I don't know how high my TV tuner will go, but I know that I do not get cable, there for I don't get any cable channels.

I have satellite not cable and I have all the channels but have absolutely no idea how many there are available.

Far more than I want. Cable should allow the purchase of channels one by one. Packages stink.

500 or so... I don't see the point though, I only watch like 5 channels.

Zero. We chose not to hook up cable and just watch DVD's when we wanna watch something.

0. We do not have cable. Neither do we have TV. We do not want one either.

The one in my basement has about 70 and the one upstairs has about 200; I only watch about 20 channels out of all of em.

If i could choose my channels I would pay more for each, but have far fewer. How does the package system improve the cable system as a whole?

We have 89 cable channels and pay Rs.800 per month,that is $20/month.

We don't have cable. We have Dish Network. We don't get all moive type channels but get all the regular channels. I think there are over 250 of those. Then we also get the High Definition package with over 30 channels in HD. Those are the ones we watch most. We really love the special HD channels. However we do NOT get any network channels thru Dish. We can sort of get CBS over the air but the picture is very bad.

None, and no dish-TV ones either. We got fed up with crappy offerings and poor service and canned the whole thing, finally, one week ago. We were using our TV to watch movies and stuff from Netflix anyway (no commercials, watch what and when we want to, pause when we want to) - we won't miss the TV.
