  • Not specifically, but I think there may be all sorts of things that could be perceived that ARE not perceived. We have five senses and various mechanical or computer-assisted (etc.) means of augmenting what the five senses can take in. Those senses evolved as we evolved as organisms. Vision, for instance, is more primitive in more primitive life forms. We are still evolving. Individuals within a species are unique, and any individual could have a more developed sense or even an additional sense. (This would look like paranormal ability to those who don't have it.) That individual could be one of a few people with an ability that eventually the whole species would have.
  • I occasionally have a psychic sense which I cannot really explain. I'll think of a song and lo and behold it's the next one on. Here's a question to verify this point. http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/278954 I think it might be the way that are brains can be tuned in. After all we have brain waves as if we were electronic devices. People always say the brain in the most sophisticated computer we know of.
  • Too many weird things have happened to me for me to completely dismiss it.
  • I have had similar things. Like I will be watching a game and a thought would comeup in my mind on whats gonna happen the next in next 2 seconds. Like a pass in soccer. A thought will just come up in my mind like "this is gonna happen now". There is probably some logical reason behind this one.
  • I am a believer of the paranormal because I have seen, heard and felt things that can't be explained away as normal occurrences. I have had skeptic friends that have changed their minds after spending sometime hanging around me during some active times. I have one friend, who has been left alone in my home for a few minutes, now refuse to even step foot on my property.
  • I guess I remain skeptical. I'm not outright dismissive of it - but it seems that whenever some extraordinarily paranormal person undergoes actual tests, they're established as fakes or no better than 'random'. Odd stuff happens and we are complex beings, so nearly anything is possible!
  • Knee-jerk reaction: No. But then, I also believe that any undiscovered laws of physics won't cease to function just because we haven't detected them yet. On top of that, I believe in God and I also believe that the Laws of Physics is just God's version of auto-pilot. Who knows what else he's got on the boil? So I suppose that means yes.
  • I didn't used to...but since we moved into this house I've changed my tune. Our oven turns on by itself and so does our washing machine, our animals play with things that aren't there, electronic devices will stop working for no reason...and then start working again a few minutes later, we hear a child giggle and we have no kids, we find things in places we didn't leave them, doors open...it's just part of our daily routine now!
