My family's concerned about my 14 year-old cousin, who's had a rather tough time in life, after finding her website. http://tinyurl.com/2t8v33 I think it's just a bunch of teen emo cr_p, but they're still worried. What do you think?

It looks like a bunch of emo stuff, and the fact that she has an icon that says "Im not emo, im just me" next to icons that make it appear she is emo makes me think its nothing. But, you never really know what she is thinking, and 9th grade is a pretty stressful time, I think you should watch for any signs that something is really wrong, but don't smother her, because then you will never find out. To me it just looks like one of those teen culture things. I shouldn't think there is that much to worry about. A lot of teenagers that age have webpages, myspaces or bebos and they generally reflect the kind of group that individual hangs around in. They often have lots of ugly/scary/epileptic fit inducing animations like that on as well. I should think it is just that your cousin is very much involved in the 'emo culture', I know quite a lot of individuals like this. They love all the death and darkness stuff but I know the majority aren't actually depressed or suicidal. Of course, it's difficult to say without actually meeting the person. I would say that webpage alone is not too much to go one with regards to being really worried but if there are any more signs it could be a cause for concern.

With the death of those two girls the other day, I wouldnt take anything lightly. Watch her carefully, and if situation worsens, go for help asap. My husband had to deal with a 15yo who was trying to kill herself recently. It was not pleasant at all.

That's pretty creative. Looks like the works of a modern day teenager to me. Seems she is not lazy nor ignorant. Thats a good start.
