How much is does it cost annually to maintain a 1988 Mercedes Benz 560 SL? or a similar model like an 80's vintage 380 SL?

    Depends on your level of mechanical ability. If you can work on your cars yourself, then maintenance costs should be minimal (less than a car payment). If not maintaining an older vehicle can be costly. I have a 1982 Mercedes 300SD and a 1988 Jaguar XJ6 and love working on them. Each cost me on average a couple of hundred of dollars to maintain.
